What is the difference between SleepMate and Sound Screen?

Other than the name, there is no difference between Sleep Mate and Sound Screen. 

I have seen a better priced SleepMate  980A on a US site can you match the price?

Will the SleepMate block out all noises?

It depends on alot of difference factors. Personally I have found that although it doesn’t block out all noises the noises that remain are less harsh to listen to because you become focused on the White Noise admitted from the SleepMate. 

Is the SleepMate white noise annoying?

Yes for the first few nights it can be annoying for some. Once you are accustomed with the White Noise you may love it like millions of other users worldwide. Personally when I hear the SleepMate it has become like a trigger for sleep and I easily drift off to sleep. 

Have you ever noticed that some of the better hotel chains seem to have loud A/C units in the rooms. This is done on purpose to admit a type of white noise that blocks out external sounds and aids in sleep. The same concept as the SleepMate.

Is the noise and tone adjustable?

Yes these are both adjustable by moving the collar and cap
